We’ve adjusted the schedule just a bit to create 2 extra Public Sale Dates ūüėĀ and this puts most drop off appointments on a weekend. ¬†Contact Michelle Brock via text message 931-212-5970 or via message on Facebook to schedule a drop-off.

  • Drop Offs By Appointment Only –¬†Sat. ¬†8/19 9 AM – 7 PM; Sun. 8/20 1 PM – 6 PM; Mon. 8/21 9 AM – 7 PM
  • Worker/Consignor Pre-Sale – 8/22 (Tues) — Workers 5 PM; Consignors 6 PM
  • Public Sale – Wed. 8/23 9 AM – 4PM, Thur. 8/24 9 AM – 6 PM, Fri. 8/25 9 AM – 6 PM

Hannah Griffin signs Letter of Intent to Play Basketball

On Monday afternoon recent Covenant Academy graduate Hannah Griffin signed a letter of intent for an Academic/Athletic Scholarship to play Basketball for the Bryan College Lions in Dayton, Tn. ¬†Hannah has been a member of the Covenant Academy Lady Lions since their inception in the 2011-12 school year. ¬†Rebounding and 3 point shooting were the highlights of Hannah’s game during her career at CA.

Golf Tournament – 2017

A field of over 20 teams took to the WillowBrook links on last Saturday for our annual fundraising golf tournament.

  • Last Week CA held graduation ceremonies for Kindergarten and High School.

  • Monday – Dress Rehearsal for End of Year Celebration Program 8:10 AM, Middle/High School Chapel with guests from Uganda immediately following rehearsal.
  • Tuesday –¬†Awards Day Program 8:30 AM, End of Year Celebration 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday –¬†School Service Day – students will be working various projects at school and in the community.
  • Thursday –¬†Student Talent Show 8:30 AM, School-wide Chapel after noon.

  • The Covenant Academy High School Soccer Team finished a very successful season on a bittersweet note Saturday afternoon at Currey Ingram. ¬†The Lions put up a stiff defensive battle against a very talented team from West Academy, but fell in the end 2-1, ending the season as the 2nd Place Team in MTAC. ¬†Taylor Madewell and Jackson Smith were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

  • Soccer Schedule for the week: Monday¬†— Soccer Team Cookout 5:00 at the Pridelands – there might even be a Player v Parent game at some point in the evening.
  • Monday – White Dress Day for all students who attended the Soccer Game Thursday evening and signed in on the list.

Pridelands Fence Signs Installed

We have installed the first batch of sponsored fence signs at the Pridelands and they look awesome.  Thanks to everyone who has purchased a sign so far.

You can get in on this advertising opportunity as well.  Follow this link to get all of the details on purchasing a sign.  As you can see in this video, these signs will be seen every day by all of the traffic going to a from Yorozu, not just by game attendees.

Our annual Fundraiser Golf Tournament sponsored by St. Thomas River Park Hospital and Superior Walls of Tennessee is coming up Saturday May 20th at WillowBrook Golf Club in Manchester.  The field of players is filling up quickly, so if you plan on playing, get your registration in soon.  You may download the Registration form here. 

Not a golfer or interested in other ways of supporting Christian Education — there is still time for you to sponsor or co-sponsor a hole at the tournament. ¬†For a $100 donation your name and or business logo will appear at the tee box of one of the holes on the course during the tournament. ¬†For a $50 donation your name or your business name will share a sign in the tee box of one of the tournament holes.

Sponsorships are more beneficial to Covenant Academy than player registrations because CA only receives a few dollars for each player registration, but 100% of sponsorship money goest to CA.  Download Sponsorship Form here.
